Ask an apologist: “What evidence would change your mind?” Most can’t answer. In science, that question is foundational, a hypothesis that can’t be falsified isn’t science. A belief system that can’t be falsified isn’t truth seeking and doesn’t care about evidence…

Come on now, @redeemed_zoomer You've debated enough Orthodox Christians to know this isn't true. (Not to mention, our priests literally earn a degree in theology by going to seminary.)

If your argument rests on men then you have at the base of your theology the words of men. Scripture isn't of man and thus doesn't need man to say it is scripture.

They are the word of God and sinful flesh can't admit that. It is only by the power of the Holy spirit.

It didn't just fall out of the sky one day (or appear in the woods for only someone with a magic seeing device could read it).
