@simonmaechling How many times do you have to be lied too from science before you start to question it?
English

@FlexDatKat Maybe in Year 2 he will actually sign a real significant trade deal, so far he’s been a lot of hot air.
English

@BeansDream It’s almost like he’s doing his job to represent Canada on the global stage to secure and promote trade deals, rather than whining like a bitch and offering no alternative like a certain leader of the opposition…

Fun Fact:
Pierre has spent more time in the United States this year than he has spent in Battle River Crowfoot.

No. Mark Carney's claim that affordability is the "best it's been in over a decade" overstates recent stabilization in some areas (like rents falling to 31-33 month lows and overall CPI at 1.8% YoY).
Housing remains far less affordable than in 2016: national benchmark home prices have roughly doubled (from ~$400K to ~$680K+), rents have surged ~100-117% (from ~$966 avg in 2015 to ~$2,100+ now), while median family incomes rose only ~30-35% nominally. CMHC data confirms the affordability crisis eased post-2022 peaks but stays at historic highs vs pre-2020 levels.
It's spin on selective metrics, not a full picture.

@RebelNewsOnline The federal govt needs to understand, they don’t hold authority over provincial and municipal forces.

@stevenmackinnon Would love to see the cost/revenue analysis that shows $35 billion in annual GDP boost for an Ottawa to Toronto high speed rail.
And if it so lucrative why are no private investors building this?
English

Pierre Poilievre, once again, is showing Canadians that he has no vision to create jobs and grow the economy.
For decades, Canadians have advocated for a modern, fast, inter-city rail network. Alto is a generational investment that will transform travel and connect communities. It will boost GDP by $35 billion annually, create over 51,000 well-paying jobs, and help Canadians work, study, and travel more efficiently.
Pierre Poilievre is turning his back on Canadians from Quebec City to Toronto and the communities in between. Investing in High-Speed Rail means building a more connected, competitive Canada, and proves Canada can get big things done.
The Conservatives, as usual, think small. Turning away from nation-building investments is the wrong choice, and one Canadians reject at a time when we need to build and grow.

@Selinnaria @Uncle_knackie @sarobertsonca Now give a single thought to the cost/usage ratio of such a project and you will hopefully realize it doesn’t equate to fair use of tax payer funds.
How many times do you want tax payers to pay for it?
Once to build it
Once to pay for it
Ongoing to maintain it……..🤔
English

@Uncle_knackie @sarobertsonca There absolutely should be good transit between the 2 main cities in Alberta. 1 hour or less between the 2 so it's commuter viable to work in Edmonton or Calgary or a few points in between. Maybe have a leg to Saskatoon?

It’s called throat singing, Jon. There’s more to life than board games and frisbee golf.
Jonathan Kay@jonkay
this is called "the juno awards" it's a hallowed annual Canadian ritual where government-subsidized Canadians pretend that ordinary Canadians enjoy listening to whatever this is supposed to be

Enough is enough. We’re going after the money behind crime.
In Montréal at the SPVM headquarters, I announced new measures under Canada’s follow-the-money strategy to crack down on extortion and disrupt illicit financial networks, working with partners like FINTRAC, law enforcement, and financial institutions.
We’re strengthening coordination to protect Canadians and our economy.

Very happy to hear @MarkJCarney directly absolutely refutes the ridiculous rumour that the government intends to prorogue Parliament. He could not have been clearer. @liberal_party #cdnpoli

@AdameMedia @DaveDumanis Jews living in isreal aren’t semetic people.

@DaveDumanis Israel is a state for Jews and that’s not antisemitic to say you utter dumbfuck.
This is why liberals are no better than Zionists.
Shove your tone policing up your ass. Good talk.

@realEssYoo I’ll remeber that when the children in military prisons in isreal start to swing from the gallows for the crime of throwing a rock.
English

@RabbiShmuley I’ll remeber that when I see children hung for throwing a rock.

@SuppressedNws1 What will the worlds reaction be when we see children being hung in isreal for their “war crimes”

⚡️JUST IN:
In tears of joy, Israeli Knesset Member Limor Son Har Melech announces the passing of the death penalty for Palestinian detainees.
Ben Gvir can be seen popping champagne inside the Knesset in celebration.
She also thanked Netanyahu for “finding time in his schedule during wartime to show up to vote in favor.”

@SuppressedNws1 Are they talking about murdering ALL Palestinian detainees?
