Warmer temperatures return for the weekend. Saturday looks beautiful! Sunday, a bit cloudy at times. Enjoy it everyone!

No worries for Santa's arrival to Southwest Virginia tonight. It'll be cloudy, but Rudolph's nose will help brighten up conditions. I'm sure Santa and his crew won't be big fans of the warmer temperatures!

Temperatures at 6:05am this morning are about 10 degrees warmer than what our AFTERNOON high should be for Chritmas Eve. To say the least, it's warm out there.

Warming up through the day thanks to an area of high pressure just off to our south! This setup brings warmer air into the region and will do so over the next few days.

Another cold start with temperatures in the 20s... Warmer air return this afternoon thanks to a slight shift in the pattern and mostly clear skies overhead.

The wind chill is brutal this morning! About half of Southwest Virginia is currently feeling like the negatives. Conditions improve as winds fall off through the day.
