NEWS: Neoen has just turned on its 219 MW/ 877 MWh Tesla Megapack battery, the largest in western Australia. But this is just stage one! When complete, this $1.1 billion @Tesla Megapack battery energy storage system will be over twice the size of the storage system pictured below. A massive 560 MW/2,240 MWh battery. When complete, the Collie battery will have the ability to charge and discharge 20% of the average demand in Western Australia's main grid. (Photo below is a Megapack system in Phoenix & not the Collie facility. It's just for reference)
