Hegseth hatte diese Munition für dringend erklärt – aber für US-Kräfte im Nahen Osten, die Ukraine geht ihm eh am Allerwertesten vorbei. Jetzt erklärt dasselbe Pentagon intern aber, dass die Shaheds „ein größeres Problem als erwartet“ sind, weil sie so komisch „niedrig und langsam“ fliegen. Niedrig und langsam. One thing I love about AI coding agents: I can ask extremely stupid questions that I would never ask a human engineer. And the AI would never laugh at me. It just patiently explains everything and is always cheerful & constructive No politics, no complaints, no challenging my requirements

Some folks say AI is bad in big codebases. I don't think that's right - I think it's bad in bad codebases. AI has no memory. Unlike you, it can't accrue understanding of a crappy codebase by banging its head against the wall over and over. A well-structured codebase lets a new developer start and contribute quickly. Related code is grouped together, deep modules have simple interfaces, and feedback loops like types and tests let you know when you screw up. Maybe the AI isn't the problem. Maybe it's your code.

I've been trying to move from imperative prompting to declarative prompting. • Imperative prompting: I tell the agent how to do something. • Declarative prompting: I describe my goal to the agent. This was impossible before, but since Opus 4.5, I'm letting models fill in the blanks more and more. I recorded a video using Quest + Opus 4.5. This is a coding agent designed specifically for this purpose.
