Sad to hear of the passing of Neil Sedaka. Wrote and sung such poignant and beautiful songs from the birth of Rock 'n' Roll. My favourite (and there are many,) is Our Last Song Together... "There is no other way we can say goodbye". RIP

Hello, friends. I'm saddened by the news of Neil Sedaka's passing. We grew up in the business and stayed in touch through all the years. He was a guest on my SiriusXM show and we recently just met up at the diner down the street and reminisced like old friends do. Neil wrote and recorded so many great hit songs - his grand music legacy will live on forever. #NeilSedaka #RIPNeilSedaka #MusicLegend #SongwritingLegend #RememberingNeilSedaka

Neil Sedaka, the legendary singer-songwriter behind hits like “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do,” “Bad Blood,” “Laughter in the Rain” and “Calendar Girl,” has died at 86 years old. “Our family is devastated by the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Neil Sedaka,” a statement from the family reads. “A true rock and roll legend, an inspiration to millions, but most importantly, at least to those of us who were lucky enough to know him, an incredible human being who will be deeply missed.” variety.com/2026/music/new…

Peter Tork with Jimi Hendrix, 1967. Photo by Micky Dolenz. This was during the infamous tour where The Jimi Hendrix Experience opened for The Monkees. While the teen audiences were often baffled by Hendrix’s set, the Monkees themselves were massive fans. Peter Tork, in particular, was a dedicated supporter of Jimi’s talent.
