Book #14. Burial Rites by Hannah Kent. By the name, you may guess that this is not a happy book. It is very gripping and completely readable. #beaubienreadsbooks

Book #3 of 2023. Evicted by Matthew Desmond. Since the kids were in middle school, I’ve read all the books they were assigned. It led to some great conversations and a few new favorites. I didn’t realize that this would get to continue even in college. Evicted is a must-read.

Book #32 was, well, The Bible. We had a 52 week plan for this year. It was broken up into Epistles, The Law, History, Psalms, Poetry, Prophecy and The Gospel. It’s always so amazing to see Jesus woven through every part. #beaubienreadsbooks2022
