Please, please can I ask everyone continue to talk about Ukraine's POWs. Many with MIA loved ones fear every hour of every day that they could be captive...knowing full well how POWs are tortured and abused. We must be their voices 🙏🏼 #pows

We are grateful to every volunteer who has stepped up to defend Ukraine, and we value them deeply, so we must remove all bureaucratic and logistical obstacles in this important effort. Today, I held a meeting with members of parliament and military colleagues. The topic is strategic – reforming the system for engaging foreign nationals and stateless persons in military service under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard. The decision has been long overdue, and my colleagues agreed that the country needs a single recruitment center for foreign nationals. This body will ensure a full support cycle: from selection and logistics to professional training, communication, and support during service. As a result of the meeting, we agreed: by the end of May, to develop a mechanism for establishing the relevant unit within the Ministry of Defense, to prepare a comprehensive recruitment program, and to draft the necessary legislative changes. We are building a system that delivers results. Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦

Well, made it into the old current bun. If we win, it could set a precedent, allowing Ukrainians, and anyone who’s been a victim of Russian brutality, to bring claims against the Russian state. Landmark. 🙏🇺🇦 It won’t bring back loved ones or undo what’s been taken, homes, lives, in some cases both, but if we’re successful, it could help people start to rebuild.

Those who follow us know and understand the attrition rates. The scale is immense. In the first 22 days of April alone, we tracked 931 losses in this category (cars, pickups, SUVs, and vans, combined). As our followers know, video analysis captures only a fraction of the total losses. While some of these vehicles are ultimately recovered and repaired, many are abandoned, stripped for parts, or destroyed. This is the reality of war. Support for Ukraine means funding and supplying these vehicles. Why Vans? Cargo In → Casualties Out Inbound: Vans protect sensitive cargo, such as electronics, from dust, mud, and rain. Outbound: Once goods are delivered, these vehicles provide a protected, enclosed space to evacuate the wounded for treatment. The Goal: $100,000 We are raising funds to purchase, repair, and prep vans for Khartiia and another secret special unit. The budget covers the purchase price, mud tires, spare parts, and technical preparation required for front-line deployment. This is the first fundraiser spearheaded by my data collection and mapping project, Ukraine Daily Update, in association with volunteers at Tochnyi.
