At my first #aapor i am thinking about how to improve future conferences in the light of the #climatecrisis, esp. reducing waste. Happy to team up with others. Some ideas in the thread! @AAPOR

Finally: this is of course not a conference-specific issue but we could be pioneers (wouldnt be the first time)

Obviously the percentage of non-plastic throw-away tableware was already higher, but it still made my heart bleed seeing bags of preventable trash after an in-house meal.

How about designing reusable coffee mugs for the time of the #aapor that can then be taken home as a souvenir afterwards.
