Final quick pop-in after splendid visits to Mountain Iron-Buhl and Pequot Lakes: A stop in Becker to check out the Bulldogs' new turf field. Team was just ending practice so I was able to visit with head coach Dwight Lundeen. The field will bear his name when the season starts.

Off to a great start for the Bulldogs at State ! Owen Angell runs a good prelim race and has put himself in the finals tomorrow in the 110m hurdles! Owen has a busy day with the pole vault and 300m prelims yet today. Keep up the good work Owen!

Becker falls to Winona 4-1 in the Consolation Championship. Fantastic season by the Bulldogs!

Gardner doubles in the 6th with two out. She had walked 6 straight plate appearances!!! Next batter is retired. Winona leads Becker 2-1 as we head to the 7th.
