6M prepared and led Celebration of the Word’ this afternoon for the children of Years Five and Six. They reminded us that we are the stewards of God’s creation and we must use our free will wisely when looking after the kingdom of God.

We are thankful to Father Emmanuel who celebrated a beautiful Mass this week to help us all to prepare for the year ahead.

KS2 had two very special visitors today. Izzy from @CAFCofficial AND the official League One Playoff trophy! The children had a Q and A session on their road to victory. We hope to see you this time next year with the Championship🏆 Thank you.

Our children who made their First Holy Communion at St David’s recently had the opportunity to celebrate the#is special sacrament with their teachers, friends and family at school this week.

‘Oh I do like to be beside the seaside.’ Sun, sea and sandcastles. What more could a child -or an adult want!

Year Six attended their Leaver Mass this afternoon at St David’s Church. Parents attended and the children read and sang beautifully. Fr Michael reminded Year Six to go and be the best they can be, but to always remember their beginnings at St Thomas A Becket.

The Year 5/6 done themselves, their families and the school proud this season finishing in 5th position but also winning the Equality Cup which represents one of the Olympic values set out in 2012. 👏🏽

Year 2 enjoyed a special pilgrimage to St Patrick's Church, Plumstead today. We were warmly welcomed and had the chance to explore the church, light a candle, and spend time in quiet prayer.

PE is always the highlight of our week in reception. Balancing, climbing, jumping, and travelling in many different ways. 🤸‍♂️🧗‍♀️🏃‍♂️
