I deliberately choose to call you Daddy, rather than Your Excellency, because I want you to feel the sincerity of my heart as one of your sons from afar, someone who has watched your journey over the years, learned from your resilience, and prayed for you through your many battles for the soul of Nigeria. Daddy, no one can deny how much you have done for this country. You have been a pillar of the democratic struggle, a fighter for justice, a defender of the common man, and one of the few who stood strong even when it was dangerous to speak truth to power. Many of us who were too young then grew up hearing your name associated with courage and determination. We also know how much you desire to sit in Aso Rock, not just for yourself, but because you believe you can rescue Nigeria. You have tried 6, maybe 7 times now, and each time you have carried yourself with dignity. That alone has taught us all a lesson about persistence and faith in one’s vision. But Daddy, I come to you today not just to praise you, but to appeal to you. You have already written your name in gold as a leader, a democrat, and a statesman. But you have the chance now to write your name even bigger, not just as a man who wanted to be king, but as the man who chose to be the kingmaker. Daddy, history teaches us something powerful: kings come and go, but kingmakers are remembered forever. A king’s reign ends after his time, but a kingmaker’s name lives on in the hearts of the people because he helped create a future bigger than himself. Right now, Nigeria needs healing. Nigerians are hurting. The economy is collapsing, hunger is widespread, and our youths are wasting their most productive years doing nothing, frustrated and angry at a system that seems to have failed them. You know this already. But we, the younger generation, believe in @PeterObi because we see him as someone who can inspire hope and unite this country again. Daddy, you know Peter Obi even better than we do, you have worked closely with him, seen his discipline, his vision, and his love for this country. We believe this is not just about personal ambition anymore. This is about saving Nigeria from collapse. And you, Daddy, hold the power to change the story. If you can hold Peter Obi’s hand and publicly anoint him, you will win something far greater than an election, daddy you will win the hearts of millions of Nigerians who will never forget that you chose Nigeria over yourself. Daddy, the coalition we are all praying for must not make the mistake of pushing Peter Obi aside. The people see him as the chosen one for this time. You can lead the way by stepping back from being the king and instead become the kingmaker who restored hope to Nigeria. Daddy, if only I were with you right now, I would kneel before you, hold your legs, with tears in my eyes, and beg you from the depths of my heart to please listen to this plea. It is not just my voice, it is the cry of millions of Nigerians who want to see this country rise again. We don’t just want to remember you as the man who contested many times. We want to remember you as the father of modern Nigeria, the man who gave up his own ambition so that the nation could be saved. That is a legacy no crown or title can match. Daddy, I say this with love and respect: there is more honour in being the kingmaker than in being the king. We, your sons and daughters, love you. And we believe that if you make this sacrifice, Allah will bless you with even more in this life and in the hereafter, for choosing the good of millions over the dream of one. Thank you, Daddy, for all you have done and all you still can do for Nigeria. We are praying for you, and we are hopeful you will listen to our plea.
