These first time buyers claimed that they bought this 'flipper' house in 2025. Everything seemed OK until the first heavy rain! They heard something that sounded like running water and went down stairs to investigate! Obviously this doesn't look good. And it's not a good sign, but what's your best guess for what would have caused something like this from just a heavy rain storm? (They said it was not a flooded yard). I guess the second thing is - What's your best guess for what this young couple will need to do in order to stop their basement from becoming an indoor wading pool every time it rains? 😬

@FLCons @julesfuels1979 Even bigger question. I’m a renter. I have my front yard, then sidewalk, then another patch of grass that’s on a slight slope then the road. When it rains it floods my sidewalk area so it basically becomes a mud pit. How do I stop that??
