Yesterday afternoon was our RE afternoon, where each year group explored a different religion. It was wonderful to see the children so engaged and curious. #BestofBeecroft

We were delighted to welcome Reverend Tim to our Easter assemblies on Wednesday. Reverend Tim spoke to the children about how Christians celebrate Easter and he was really impressed by their knowledge and how enthusiastically they engaged with his questions. #BestofBeecroft

Yesterday Meerkat Class visited Dunstable Library. The children had a lovely time and were excited by all the amazing things the library had to offer. #BestofBeecroft

Thank you to Henri for all his hard work in supporting the children with their music sessions through Rock Steady Music. They have worked incredibly hard which culminated in their performance to parents and carers yesterday. #BestofBeecroft

Our Early Years pupils had an excellent local walk yesterday. They walked around our local area, looking for machines in the environment. We found a range of machines ranging from a telephone box, traffic lights, vehicles and lamp posts. #BestofBeecroft

Today Mrs Hughes and Miss Bell visited the House of Commons for the ‘ADHD and Lived Experience’ event as part of Beecroft Academy’s ongoing collaboration with ADHD360. Enabling us to further understand and support our pupils. #BestofBeecroft

Lemur Class had a fantastic DT lesson today, peeling, cutting and slow cooking to make a vegetable soup. They ended the day by taste testing what they had made. #BestofBeecroft

To celebrate British Science Week, Panther Class used their knowledge of states of matter to investigate: Which chocolate bar melts the slowest? The children applied a range of science skills to explore their investigation. #FutureScientists #BritishScienceWeek #BestofBeecroft

This week Rhino class celebrated British Science Week. We investigated is yeast a microorganism? By feeding yeast warm sugar water the yeast produced Carbon Dioxide and inflated our balloons. #Britishscienceweek #FutureScientists #BestofBeecroft

Year 2 had a wonderful coastal day to celebrate the end of our Coastline project. The children enjoyed a hilarious Punch and Judy show, got creative making their own beach huts, took part in a beach themed PE lesson and cooled down with a delicious cold treat. #BestofBeecroft

Today, Penguin Class showed great bravery as they explored a variety of fruits—many for the very first time!
Some surprised us, and we discovered that we enjoyed fruits we didn’t think we would. All were so open-minded and willing to give new flavours a try! #BestofBeecroft
