@symatt But, once I got a job, I had no more allowance, although I was still expected to do my chores.

@symatt I made minimum wage there, and worked 8 hours every Saturday during the school year, and 6 days per week during summer break. This continued until I got my first job outside the family business as a lifeguard during the summer at 16 years.

@BrainClouds Yes, alignment languages were a thing. I was *much* younger when I had/played Basic, & ignored them. But, I do remember other DMs/groups who said they used them.
