This Sunday sees the last 32 in the @LancashireFA Sunday Trophy compete for a place in the last 16. Six teams from the @BlackburnLeague make up the last 32, with four of those six teams involved in two domestic derbies, meaning two of our sides are guaranteed to exit at this stage. @BluesEwood face an incredibly daunting task, as they take on four time champions of Lancashire and current back to back winners @MillHill_FC ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ at Pleasington. K/O is 11.02am. Bridgewater host a resurgent FC Havelock (Formerly Bees Knees) at Pleasington K/O is 11.02am. @FcLongshaw travel to the sand dunes of Common Edge in Blackpool🗼🫏 (FY4 5FH), where they will face @AFCPoulton_ K/O is 11am. And finally, Division Two leaders @BeehiveFC23 are also on the road, as they head over to Ainsdale (PR8 3QF) where they take on Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs (Blue). (Note: This game kicks off at 1.30pm)

Our Sunday Blues are into Round 3 of the Lancashire Sunday Trophy beating St Helens U19s 3-1. First ever year the side has entered it after being our Senior Sunday Reserves in the past. They will now host @BeehiveFC23 on Sun Nov 10th at the club.

The game of the day in Division Two saw @BeehiveFC23 put four past Tavern FC. The Beehive have been busy 🐝 in the transfer market this Summer and have made a perfect start. @HelmshoreHFC picked up their first points of the season back in the @BlackburnLeague as they overcame Bridgewater 3-0 at Blacksnape, with @tezzza92 Matt Terry voted MOTM. League newbies @ReadFootballCl1 have a made start to life in Division Two, picking up another good win against Ewood Blues at Read Recreation Ground.

Meanwhile, in Division Two the early pacesetters Tavern FC meet leaders @BeehiveFC23 at Roman Road, Blackburn, BB2 3UY, with neither side keen to lose their winning record. Bridgewater take on @HelmshoreHFC at Blacksnape. K/O 10.30am And league newcomers @ReadUnitedFoot1 will be looking to add to the 3 points they took last week, as they entertain Ewood Blues at Read Recreation Ground, Whalley Road, Read, BB12 7PN

In Division Two, there were goals galore. At Witton 3G, Tavern beat league newcomers The Station 9-5. However, our best wishes must go to Tavern player @carrickeatough who had a nasty collision with the woodwork midway through the 2nd half and was subsequently taken to hospital. (We’ll keep you updated on Carricks condition) At Blacksnape, @BeehiveFC23 won 11-2 against @ScSunnybank Ewood Blues drew 3-3 against Golden Cup and finally Bees Knees grabbed a late equaliser to draw 2-2 against Bridgewater.
