A great tradition continued at Northwood this morning-the annual Flag Day celebration. Thanks to everyone who helped out, especially members of the Hiscock-Fishbaugh American Legion Post, State Assemblyman Josh Jensen and our amazing students!

Mother nature paid a visit to Northwood yesterday in the form of a fawn who was separated from its mom. Fortunately, it was only a short time before the two were reunited.

A full day at Northwood yesterday, Lunch with a Loved One to start things off and then the art show at night, complete with some incredible musical performances-plus a book fair! Special thanks to the Northwood staff and PTO for making all this possible.

A great way to start the day at Northwood! Students and staff were treated to fantastic performances from the bands and choruses!

Drop Everything and Read @NorthwoodElem1 was a huge success! We love reading and celebrating National Reading Month.

We LOVED dancing, singing and learning about Zambian culture with our new friends!

Our “One School, One Book” extravaganza has launched! We are reading, Clementine by Marla Frazee!

Our 5th graders in Mrs. Luta and Ms. Sansone’s classes celebrated Black History by completing projects about difference makers, complete with the opportunity to share them with their 3rd grade buddy classes. ⁦@MPerkowski3⁩ ⁦@NorthwoodElem1⁩
