Not everything is colonialism. Africans largely didn't document their discoveries and technologies. Most of it was shrouded in secrecy and handed down orally. You must belong to either a secret cult or a particular family to be let in on these knowledge and technologies. When members suddenly die without passing the torch to the next person, that knowledge dies with them. White people on the other hand, made theirs public and they were well documented and taught in their universities. Theirs were reviewed by others and improved upon in ways that the originators didn't even think were possible. Albert Einstein didn't build the atom bomb, but his discoveries and knowledge led to it's creation. Africans are still guilty of this secrecy to date. That's why you hear that there is a place where they work on people's bones but it's only members of one family that can be bonesetters. We need to let go of this need to hoard knowledge because it has held us back as a society
