@rileybrown_ai This is an outstanding take on the subject. This comparison nailed it for me on 2 important angles:
- tomorrow's managers will be evaluated on their ability to decide per hour, much like poker like you mentioned or competitive online players on action per minute. Unproductive time now is the time you're not setting an AI agent in motion.
- any software editor today (which I am part of) should focus on what it takes for a system to enable a next gen manager to handle 100s of AI agents running in parallel.
Framing it like you did really opened my eyes on it: the system should be made to maximize good decisions per minute. 🙏👍

AI Agent Workflows in 2026 will look like Online Poker in 2010
During the online poker boom around 2010, really good online poker players started multi-tabling (playing poker on 10-20 tables at once) high stakes games, and i think the smartest people and companies are going to start multi-tabling ai agent workflows
1. app building
2. content creation
3. internal decision making
4. and every agent workflow you can imagine
The more these agents do autonomously, the longer the periods between human decisions.
By multi-tabling, smart people can make more high impact decisions per hour.
its already happening in @cursor_ai
what the f am i supposed to do while it cooks for 90 seconds, 150 seconds, soon 10 minutes?
i would much rather work on something at the same time then drift to twitter or distractions.
"But Multi tasking doesn't work..."
you're right...
Which is why the best poker players demanded better data, so they could look at every "spot" or decision point, as an isolated task.
This lead to the creation of the "HUD" or Heads Up Display:
This basically kept track of every stat of all the players at all the online tables you we're at.
VPIP / PFR / AF / CBet / WTSD (look these up if curious)
In their heads, the real Poker Pros weren't playing on Table 1, Table 2, and Table 14. They we're playing one game, and they we're simply trying to, over the long run, increase dollars per hour.
Which means increasing decisions per hour.
This is how it looked:
When it was their turn to bet in one of the games, the screen would light up. They would finish their decision on one table, and move to that one, and look at the "spots" relevant data, and make a quick decision to call, raise or fold, then move to the next one, and repeat for 10 + hours.
These guys/girls are fucking insane.
The practical point i'm trying to make here is this
The key skill, in any spot, is knowing what specific data is relevant in making a decision. AI agent workflows have the potential to do this, but not with a closed game like poker.
It will be able to do this but for managing entire companies, agencies, content farms and more, surfacing the relevant data, right when you need it to help you make +ev decisions.

Tired of endless meetings that leave you frustrated? 🥱 Let’s switch to the IDEAL method to make your meetings truly effective:
I - Intention:
Start each meeting by clearly defining the intention and objectives. State in one sentence what you aim to accomplish (e.g., "Today, we want to finalize the action plan for Project X"). This sets expectations and motivates participants. 🎯
D - Discussion:
For each agenda item, keep the discussion focused on what matters most:
Set a timer ⏳: Use a 30-minute timer to create a sense of urgency.
Use time management tools 📊: Set a 5-minute alert for each agenda point to keep everyone on track.
Start with a key question ❓: Use a targeted question to help everyone refocus.
Quick roundtable 🔄: No more than 5 minutes for everyone to give a quick update on their progress or challenges. Short and effective!
Try stand-up meetings 🚶♂️: Inspired by Agile, stand-up meetings boost energy and naturally reduce meeting time.
Use a ticket system 🎟️: Record off-topic ideas to avoid interruptions during the meeting. It reassures participants while keeping the focus on the agenda.
E - Evaluate solutions:
Summarize the options and decisions made 📋: Make sure that every decision is clear and understood by all before moving on.
Confirm progress: Ask quick questions to make sure everyone is on the same page (e.g., "Is everyone in agreement with this solution?").
A - Act with concrete actions:
Ensure each decision is followed by a concrete action and clear assignment (e.g., "Antoine will finalize the document by Monday"). This clarifies responsibilities, removes doubt, and prevents delays.
Digital follow-up 💻: At the end of each meeting, send a recap email with decisions made and assigned tasks. Use tools like Beesy to track these actions in real time.
L - Liberate time and evaluate:
Gather feedback 📝: Ask participants for their feedback on the meeting format, and adjust based on their input to continuously improve your meetings.
With these simple but effective tips, you can make your meetings more productive and less time-consuming! 🚀
Which method will you try in your next meeting? Share your thoughts in the comments! 💬👇

Great breakdown of the GTD method! I've found that the "Capture" step is crucial - having a reliable system to catch all incoming tasks is a game-changer. For "Clarify," I like to use the two-minute rule: if it takes less than two minutes, do it now. For the "Organize" step, I found the Eisenhower matrix incredibly useful.
English

Getting Things Done:
🔹 Capture tasks
🔹 Clarify their meaning
🔹 Organize them into list
🔹 Reflect on progress
🔹 Engage with action

Here's the English translation of your post for Twitter:
Feeling overwhelmed by your never-ending to-do list? It's normal, many of us are trapped in mental overload. 🤯 The secret to a productive day? Prioritize and simplify! 🎯 Forget the frantic race to tick everything off. Focus on the essentials: high-impact tasks that truly bring you closer to your goals. 💪 How?
1 - Start by identifying your 2-3 priority tasks for the day. Yes, only 2-3! Those that will move you forward significantly.
2 - Apply the Eisenhower matrix to classify your tasks:
🟥 Urgent and important: Do immediately
🟩 Important but not urgent: Schedule
🟨 Urgent but not important: Delegate if possible
⬜️ Neither urgent nor important: Eliminate or postpone
3 - Break down complex tasks into smaller, more manageable steps. Easier to handle, right?
4 - Use time-blocking: assign specific time slots to your important tasks. This helps you stay focused and avoid unproductive multitasking.
5 - Adopt the Pomodoro technique: work in 25-minute sessions, followed by 5-minute breaks. This boosts your concentration and fights procrastination.
6 - Practice "eat that frog": start your day with the most difficult or least pleasant task. The rest of the day will flow more smoothly!
7 - Establish daily routines to automate certain decisions and free up mental energy: Identify recurring decisions in your day and create routines to handle them automatically. For example, set a fixed time slot for meetings, or a specific day for administrative tasks...
To go further, a tool like Beesy can help you:
- Centralize projects and tasks in one place
- Visualize your priorities at a glance (integrated Eisenhower Matrix)
- Facilitate team collaboration
- Generate automatic visual progress reports
The advantage? You save time on management to focus on action.
➡️ Don't forget the importance of breaks and disconnection. Plan moments in your day to recharge your batteries and stimulate your creativity.
Fewer tasks, more impact. By applying these techniques, you'll quickly see the difference in your productivity and well-being at work. Ready to test this new approach? What could you accomplish with a streamlined and effective to-do list? 🤔
