Why hasn't anyone told me that 95% confidence intervals only protect you from one type of mistake? Spent years feeling statistically literate. Then started A/B testing. Then discovered statistical power. Ek poora framework tha – college ne sirf aadha padhaya.

@BehereBaba So can we interpret this as we Indian's collectively still not using first principle reasoning methods and not focusing on "Why" but are eager to see "how" ...

I used AI to pick top 300 images from my wedding album of 5000+ images in 45 mins 😅 Every married person reading this has received this message: "Beta, photos kab bhejoge?" I had 5,000 of them. No idea where to start. We shot 5,000 photos across our wedding events. My parents, my in-laws – everyone wanted a curated set of 300. My wife and I stared at the Google Drive folder, did the math (3 min/photo × 5,000 = 15,000 combined minutes), and closed the laptop. Then I saw a viral reel using Gemini to rank wedding photos. Built my own version over the weekend. The script does four things per photo: [1] Scores it on quality (I set a high bar – needed top 300 from 5,000) [2] Generates a description of the moment [3] Checks faces against reference images (so I can later search "all photos with my nani") [4] Tags the event – mehendi, ceremony, reception, haldi All output goes into a spreadsheet. I filter. I decide. The AI never decided. This is the part I want people to notice: I wasn't automating the curation. I was automating the context. Every photo now had metadata. That made browsing 5,000 photos feel like browsing 300. Took 45 minutes to run. Saved us, conservatively, 10+ hours. If you've got a Google Drive graveyard of event photos – this is a weekend worth spending. Script available if anyone wants it. Just ask.

What's the best moment to upsell? 💰💰💰 It is when someone is already checking out with the smaller plan By checkout, the hardest part is over. They believe the problem is real. They feel the urgency. They're actively about to pay. That trifecta? Almost never exists at the top of your funnel. Two nudges work: 1) The benefit nudge. Show them exactly what they unlock – not a feature list, but an outcome. What does the higher plan make easier or faster for them? 2) The laziness nudge. More powerful. Show them the friction they'll hit without upgrading. The limit they'll hit mid-project. The manual step they'll have to do every time. Nobody wants to deal with that later. People pay to avoid pain more reliably than they pay for upside. You don't need to sell the premium plan. You need to sell "you won't have to deal with that." One prompt. Right moment. Right angle. Done well, this drives up to 25% more sales on your top plan. No new traffic. No redesign. No ad spend. Just a sentence placed at the exact moment the customer is already sold.
