i want to make myself read books again so i'm going to start reading on flights. what're some that are easier/shorter but good reads? nothing too serious. if it's somehow relevant, i enjoyed twilight and hunger games when i was at the peak of my enjoyment for reading

I love to cold email scientists, like, “hey, can I ask you some questions that you and maybe 12 other people on earth can answer” and it’s an absolute binary between the ones who are like “YES! WHEN? NOW? LETS GO!!” and the ones who ghost me forever and ever.

@AngelaS2Canada Hired personally. I knew they’d all gone to college, but I never bother to ask where. Simply didn’t matter to me. Maybe because I hadn’t gone? Who knows. I only cared about who they were as people and what their skills were NOW.

Question for my Twitter pals: I’ve hired many smart, kind, talented and accomplished people over the years. I have no idea where any of them went to college. Not a one. I never asked and never cared. Am I an anomaly? Asking as a dad with a kid killing himself to get into college.
