Amid the rising demands for outbound travel and the “China travel” craze, traveller traffic at #Beijing’s border checkpoints has reached a new high. By May 5, the Beijing Daxing International Airport checkpoint alone had handled over 2 million inbound and outbound travellers from the start of the year—10 days earlier than last year. Of these, more than 680,000 were foreign nationals, a year-on-year increase of over 40 percent, underscoring Beijing’s appeal as an international hub.
