Unfortunately this seems to be an unintended consequence of the culture that has built up in schools over the last few years and is now spilling over into homes because of the current home learning situation.

Dear teachers everywhere. For the love of god, please consider setting some home work that doesn’t involve intensive parent involvement. Some stuff our kids could do independently would be super. Thanks.
