‼️Sad news ‼️ just seen @KuljitBhamra ’s post announcing the sudden and untimely passing of @Sangeeta_singer Most of us have grown up listening to many of Sangeeta songs and will have a collection of her tapes /cds & Vinlys. Sangeeta will be missed by all her fans all over the world. Sharing Kuljit Bhamra post in which he writes “I received a call last night from Rita her sister informing me of the devastating news that she passed away earlier that evening. Sangeeta had been battling with cancer for a number of years, but despite her determination and strength, was unable to defeat it. I was in touch with her last week discussing the new album that we were working on. We had a light-hearted exchange of texts and she seemed to be in good spirits despite being overly weakened by the treatment. It goes without saying that she leaves behind a glorious legacy of many beautiful songs that will continue to be loved worldwide - Pyar Ka Hai Bari, Aj Mein Nachungi, Oy Shava and Ruth Hai Bahar Ki - to name just a few. Our thoughts and wishes are with her family and loved ones. RIP #Sangeeta #Singer
