🥁 Thus the RIDME/EPR cluedo suggests that the three main sites for copper(II) form a triangle with vertices at copper-ions coordinated to H3, H9 and H288. Especially the last one was a surprise. 🧲

Using Dongmei's and Alan's histidine knockout mutants and RIDME distance measurements we could show that of two dominant distances one is diminished in H3A and H9A each. However, H288A only leaves a short distance populations. H67A and H247 show no effect.
