@Mywahom @Opresii if NDC leaves power, the NPP will abandon or abolish the case. For these reasons, it is more understandable to mention the NDC than to credit the courts alone.

@Mywahom @Opresii It is justifiable to say the NDC rather than the courts because the court had been in there for a long time without any action being taken. It was only when the NDC came to power that action was taken. Therefore, the pressure is on NDC.

@nyavorx at Damang. However, since he also plans to construct the road from Damang to Cape Coast, he could simply land at the Cape Coast airport and continue the journey by road to Damang. That way, the airport would support tourism and create broader economic benefits the country

@nyavorx That’s good, but I would have preferred if he focused on the mini airport in Cape Coast instead of Damang. Considering tourism, a Cape Coast airport would benefit Ghanaians more. If the intention is for him to travel from Accra to Damang, then I understand why he wants an airport

Ei, I just checked the Bank of Ghana 2025 financial report, these people really invested serious money just to push inflation down to 3.3%. No wonder prices have been fairly stable lately. BoG take the cost so we no go suffer.

We have 275 MPs in parliament. NPP has only 88 MPs Ndc has 187 MPs Two thirds of 275 = 183 NDC has more than 2/3 majority and they can’t change the constitution to seal the loop holes which enables corruption. Ghanaians really wasted their votes 🤦🏽‍♂️

@fatheranthoni for their turn at the presidency. It seems many of you pursue law not out of genuine service to Mother Ghana, but for political ambition.

@fatheranthoni Are you talking to yourself? The same applies to you. You people go into politics just to secure jobs at the presidency. When you were in opposition, you wished ill on the sitting government. Now, those in the NPP are doing the exact same thing to the current government, hoping

Most people are just pretending they want the system to work when in actual fact they want it to bend or even break when the breakage is in their interest. Some of the demands y’all make are not demands of people who want working systems. Yes I’m talking to you. You, yes you who thinks everything government must be done by “ways and means.”

@JoyNewsOnTV I believe it is a strategy. The introduction of the $100 airport levy, combined with visa-free access for all African countries entering Ghana, is likely intended to attract more visitors who will, in turn, pay the levy.

What actually has accounted for the mass disqualification of the Youths in the Security recruitment is mind blowing. No appointments for the youths, they have been neglected, no appointee is paying attention to their plights, they are struggling to feed, buy data to keep defending the party. The only avenue for them to get employed too, they have been disqualified. Was this the promise made to the Youths during the campaign in 2023-2024?

Here are even more shocking findings of the audit into 2024 arrears. Fictitious Debt of GH¢89.4 million – The then Ministry of Trade and Industry in 2024 submitted a request of GH¢89.4 million to the Ministry of Finance to be transferred to five commercial banks as government contribution to interest payments under the One District, One Factory (1D1F) initiative. The Ministry of Finance subsequently processed same to the Controller and Accountant General’s Department for payment. This particular request was part of BTAs sitting at the Controller and Accountant General’s Department awaiting cash for payment. When auditors contacted these five banks to confirm the liability, every single one of them denied being owed any amount by government under the said arrangement. According to the Auditors, the said GH¢89.4 million debt was fictitious. Without the audit intervention, a whopping GH¢89.4 million of hard-earned public money could have been disbursed to settle this non-existent liability. Payment of GH¢10.5 million was recorded as having been made into an account named the “Buffer Account” at a commercial bank. Upon verification, the bank confirmed that it had never received such payment. The account number cited did not exist within the bank’s records and did not even conform to its account numbering format. The evidence from the audit pointed to a completely fictitious account. As a result of these fictitious accounts linked to One District, One Factory payments, the entire 1D1F scheme requires a forensic audit which will be carried out soon. Moreso when Government is said to have spent GH¢391 million as its contribution towards 1D1F interest subsidies as at the end of 2024.
