Around 7 to 8 PM Central Time tonight there will be a further report on the Byron Accident. As of now, leaks have been stopped, however the damage has been done. Evacuation Order remains in place.

Byron Incident Report: drive.google.com/file/d/1uVbSeK… A partial meltdown occurred. Bell is doing everything in its power to prevent pain and damage. Those in the effected area are advised to read this report ASAP.

Those within a 10 mile downwind of the plant should evacuate. Those within 20 miles of the plant should be prepared to evacuate. Those within 50 miles of the plant should exercise increased caution. Evacuation Sirens are sounding in the Byron area. Stay safe, evacuate. (2/2)

A radioactive leak at Byron Nuclear Generating Plant has been detected. We believe there may be a rapidly developing situation in Unit 1. Therefore, Emergency Plan 4 is being enacted, those within a 5 mile radius of the plant should evacuate. (1/2)

Damage at the Byron Nuclear Generating Plant has been recorded and the situation is being monitored. Residents should be prepared to evacuate and should take iodine pills as stated in emergency plan 4 now. As of now, there has been no detected radiation leak to the public.

Nuclear Units in Northern Illinois are facing Grid Outages, therefore all Nuclear Units in the effected area are ordered to immediately shutdown, power will be imported from other regions. Residents near Nuclear Power Plants are advised to locate their Nuclear Readiness Kit.
