With the upcoming long weekend, we want to take a minute and remind everyone about being safe when having campfires and setting off fireworks.

Firefighters from Station 3 and 4 attended Harmony Public School to participate in the fun fair held this past week. Participants had a chance to meet Sparky, learn about fire safety, and see equipment used by firefighters.

This past week, firefighters from Station 3 and 4 used their training night to train on portable pumps and setting up water sources where we do not have hydrants. Firefighting in a rural setting can look quite different than firefighting in an urban setting.
