The Red Sox are 13-21. The Cubs are 22-12. I don’t care what Alex Bregman’s numbers are. Everybody knows about his impact on the guys around him. It’s not a coincidence that the Red Sox and Cubs are going in opposite directions.

@Bellhorn2004 @BallParkBuzz I mean he’s batting .243 with 3 homers, people would clown on Craig if we gave him 35m and for him to produce those numbers so lose-lose

@romanis_emperor @BallParkBuzz Not sure when you last checked but he’s up to .250 now after a slow start and I’d absolutely take this consistency in the Sox lineup (especially combined with his leadership and probably a happy Roman)

Most uncomfortable ballpark proposal in Fenway history has finally happened

Saw this today on Instagram. Carlos Narvaez worked with GradumGswing recently to help get out of his slump. Over his first 8 games, he was only hitting .195 with a .409 OPS. Since then, he’s hit .350 with an OPS of 1.131, 2 HR & two doubles.

If TS10 has 1,000,000 fans, I’m one of them; if TS10 has 100 fans, I’m one of them; if TS10 has 1 fan, it’s me; if TS10 has no fans, I’m dead

There were some in the Red Sox organization who believed Trevor Story was past his prime and no longer capable of being an everyday impact player, per @byJulianMack. The front office was not fully convinced by his 2025 numbers. Questions were raised internally when he hit #2.

@MattGross87 @OverTheMonster @Jared_Carrabis THANK YOU. I have been telling everyone who will listen that the Sox have a cold weather problem but I didn’t know how to find historical weather data to prove it. Hate the “it’s cold” excuse when the others teams have to deal with it too and October can get just as cold

@Bellhorn2004 @tylermilliken_ At this point they need to shove the platoon up their asses. If Celo is the future and they didn’t wanna trade him, he should be getting all ab’s. You don’t improve by watching a right hander strike out from the dugout. You improve from game reps and playing every day.

Runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs… and you can’t even push one run across. Durbin, who is here to play good defense and not strikeout, immediately Ks. Wong then does the exact same thing. And then I have to watch IKF shit down his leg on a pitch in the dirt. Unreal.

@B_Fahrer @tylermilliken_ They were always going to platoon Mayer against lefties but it sucks so so so much that it’s IKF instead of Romy (or basically anyone else on earth). Romy needs to get healthy ASAP

@tylermilliken_ At this point I am convinced Mayer shagged Cora’s daughter at spring training. There is no other logical explanation for Cora trying to force IKF into the lineup.

There are just three parts of the Red Sox plan/blueprint coming out of spring training that have truly worked out as hoped: Willson Contreras, Connolly Early, and Wilyer Abreu.

@itsbrianbarrett Even if they signed Alonso/Bichette (and they were actually hitting) we’d still have a massive problem. Refuse to believe you can’t do better than Fatse
