Hey all, I'm James, CEO of Adalo (a no-code app builder) and at the risk of sounding like every other no-code tool releasing an AI builder... We have an AI Builder we're releasing for our no-code app builder!
I'm asking for beta testers--because we actually want feedback and will implement it. I think we've got something really special that honours the founding purpose of Adalo in making software a breeze for anyone, no matter your background.
Of course, I've used Claude Code and it is incredible, but I think Adalo has an important role to play in the ecosystem, especially for visual learners:
- Your prompt will generate a full database-backed app that will be visually laid out for you on one canvas, and a QR code will let you see and test the app on any device instantly.
- The one app version will let you publish PWA, native apps on Android and iOS, as well as publish in a few days to both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
- You can edit via prompt or edit with our intuitive tools, letting AI get you 90% of the way there (and handling important stuff like db structuring and data relationships for scalability), while you truly make the app your own with our visual editing tools (tools actually built through years of human feedback and refinement).
- Since we launched Adalo 3.0, we've tripled our app speed through a year of dedicated focus from 2024 -> 2025. Now we've just added triple infrastructure redundancy (including multiple zone support). We also abolished the usage charges on App Actions (a deeply unpopular pricing change Adalo made), meaning there is no bill shock. We now also have modular infrastructure that allows you to scale, growing to dedicated infrastructure should you wish, and even integrations with datasources/services that don't even have APIs.
Adalo has been known it the past as MVP-only software. I personally took hundreds of calls when I stepped into the role that made that perception clear. But I also heard how much people rooted for Adalo to be the tool they knew it could be. We've been working hard to bring that to life.
TL;DR we've done a LOT. Please DM me if you'd like to try our AI Bulider (which is glorious, but still needs tire kicking to make sure we give a 98%+ hit rate on it doing what you want it to do).
