There is a platform that I use that will help those that are in the gap between talent and monetization. musicguru.ai

Nobody told me this: I've seen 14 producers more talented than me quit music entirely. Broke. I have 1.1B streams. The difference? They optimised for craft. I built systems for distribution. Talent is the lie the industry sells to keep creators competing instead of earning.

@RB_RockBottom Truth in that - urgency to express something real makes you learn faster than any curriculum. But I'd push back: the instrument isn't the bottleneck anymore. AI removed that excuse. Now the only question is do you have something to say. That's where most people get quiet.

@BellringerMusic A musical instrument is difficult only if you're not creative to begin with and have no interest in figuring out how it works and more importantly, what to do with it. When the music in your head wants to come out, you figure out how to play that guitar or piano real fast.

I spent 43 years learning music theory. AI learned it in 3 seconds. Here's the truth: AI isn't here to replace creativity. It's here to expose who was hiding behind technique. The artists who survive won't be the most technical. They'll be the ones with something real to say.

@BardsAntiquity That's exactly it. MIDI producers are actually in a great position - AI can handle the tedious engineering side while you focus on the ideas. The creators who use AI as a tool instead of a crutch will own the next decade. What kind of stuff are you working on?

@BellringerMusic I like the idea that AI can be used as a tool while keeping the creativity in the hands of the creator. I use a lot of MIDI, and hope AI can assist with engineering, rather than the actual song creation.

I agree with this fully. Soon, music will be all about what you say not how fast you can say it. Nobody will care how much you practiced. Most don’t care now. All that will matter is if folks like what they hear.

@ManMachineGlow Thanks for commenting...AI is making us more human and that "honest to say" is the access.

@BellringerMusic There’s truth in that. Technique is a tool—voice is the difference. If you’ve got something honest to say, no model can replace that.

Dr. King's dream was carried by people of all ages. Some of us get our assignment early. 40+ years later, I'm still writing about freedom - economic, creative, spiritual. The mission never changed. Only the tools evolved. What's YOUR assignment? #MLKDay

At 8, I didn't know that moment would lead to: → songs used by Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg → winning awards → 80,000-song catalog → 1.2B Streams → Pioneering AI music → Global Launchpad Mastermind I just knew I had something to say about FREEDOM.

I was 8 years old when the NAACP asked me to write a song for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. "Free at Last" - my first song ever. They didn't ask an adult. They asked a child. Because purpose doesn't wait for permission. Destiny doesn't wait for "ready."

For years it bothered me that my catalog wasn't on Spotify. Then I realized - why rent space in someone else's house when you can build your own? So I did. Tonology.app - every piece of music I've ever made that I actually love. It's beta. It's messy. It's mine.

So here's your assignment: Reply with ONE thing you're doing today toward your 2026 vision. Not tomorrow. TODAY. Make it real. Make it public. I'll be in the replies. Let's go. 🔔

The people who win in 2026 won't be the ones with the best plans. They'll be the ones still executing on Day 33. And Day 133. And Day 333.
