@heinrichboldt Sure, PyRevit is perfect for that indeed! It was more like a challenge to program something and kinda understand how it works in the background.

I had time to do some bleepbloop during lunch time on the Revit view tab colors and fonts. I'm about to turn my full UI to pink and Comic Sans cuz chaos is fun🤪

Here's a follow up from last video. Yesterday evening I took time to learn a bit more on how to load a 3D object file inside a test project with the help of ASSIMP and the tutorial from the YT code imposter : programmingcreatively.com/opengl-tutoria… I believe you can recognize this 3d object😉

Good morning people, quick question : Have you ever had a Revit model that had more than 100 000 instances on a large project ? If yes, what was the total amount? The average that I've seen so far is 60 000 to 80 000 for a large Revit project.

Quick update (this one was "something"😂) : The clash detection tool now detects when one or more elements are added or modified inside a Revit link. The detection is triggered when you open a new document or when the link is reloaded. One or two updates to go before QA 🎉

A quick update on real-time clash detection: 1. The tool can automatically detect clashes when a new element is created within the active Revit model (currently limited to pipes and ducts). 2. The tool can also clash with elements in a Revit link. This is so fun to look at 🤩

@seanmpage @nicocatellier Also, you'll have to read more documentation on how to use this third party layer. It feels more optimal to jump directly inside the SDK from the product owner and read or test the commands or application in my own opinion.

@nicocatellier (2 of 2) Not necessarily python limitations, but more like building on top of a platform that is already extra layers deep and that you can't know for sure will always be there or updated etc.

Well, I never knew that one day I would have to make "FrOm ScRaTcH" (I used Unity) a quick VR app for a Meta headset to showcase a building design. It was weird, but a nice experience! Another thing to add in my professionnal resume😂
