@juliedmarquis Thanks for writing. No, not intentional on Byrne. The New Yorker piece was mainly about Ellsberg and his relationship with Neil Sheehan. Byrne was only briefly mentioned in one paragraph. I will have more to say about him in my forthcoming biography of Ellsberg.

@BenBradleeJr Hi, read your Ellsberg piece with interest. Question though: you take Janny Scott to task for not reaching out to him, but appears you don’t reach out to Matthew Byrne survivors/potential defenders. That leaves the implication Byrne was perhaps corrupt. Is that intentional?
