THE BERENSTAIN BEARS has finally ended reruns, as of Sept 8, 2025. It may be a surprise, but there was a very small number of local stations still airing the show until very recently. Most stations broadcast the show from 2003 to 2008. It remains available on Amazon Prime Video.

As expected, local PBS and NPR stations have to make drastic changes to their operates without federal funding. Mississippi Public Broadcasting will no longer carry PBS programming on TV and NPR programming on radio.

@itspeeebs I think all the live action were all filmed in my home state of Massachusetts. I wonder if the class had an advanced viewing of whatever the prior Arthur episode being aired was. I probably lived closest to the segment during “The Chips are Down”
