This is my second photo from my fall visit to Zion. Photographed on Fuji Provia 100F 8x10 film with my Chamonix Alpinist X camera and Fujinon C 300mm lens.

I found this scene in deep shade near the entrance of a slot canyon. To me the leaf looked like a sailor lost at sea. The frothy foreground texture of rain drops in the sand adds to the feeling of turbulent seas. Photographed on Fuji Provia 100F 8x10 film.

Photographed on Fuji Provia 100f 8x10 film using my Chamonix Alpinist X with a Nikkor SW 150mm. I spotted this short-lived glow the day before, noted the time, then returned to this canyon a bit earlier the following day to photograph it.

Whenever I see the word “Flatiron”, I read it as “Falitron” — which sounds more like a Transformer.

@Filmstadtonline I believe this one was one second at f/45. Sure is nice to use the mechanically timed shutter speeds rather than bulb mode once in a while.
