For comparison, here's how the Giants fared vs. RHP in 2025 (min. 70 PA):

There were 15 Giants who had 20+ plate appearances vs. lefties last season, and only Heliot Ramos posted above-average numbers against them. Chapman and Devers, plus perhaps Ramos himself, should be much better than this in 2026. And the new guys (Bader & Arraez) should also help lift them up from the cellar vs. LHP.

The #SFGiants slashed .214/.279/.351 vs. lefties in 2025, which translated to MLB's third-worst wRC+ (78). The Rockies were last with a 75 wRC+ vs. LHP.

Schmitt and Encarnacion should be much better vs. lefties too.

@Bauher08 Yeah thanks for the question, I didn't realize they were quite that bad. Chapman and Devers (plus others) should do much better than that vs. lefties in '26.

Giants have one of the better position player groups in MLB. Their pitching is just a little (or a lot) sus behind Logan Webb.
