Sources: Baylor is finalizing a multi-year deal to hire Jerome Tang as the school’s new associate head coach. Tang was a long-time Baylor assistant under Scott Drew before taking the Kansas State head job in 2022.

Seems like a solid hire in a relatively soft market for coaches this year. Not a lot of slam-dunk candidates out there, nor is there a basketball version of Collin Klein to fall into K-State's lap.
I like Alexander's consistency & offensive mind. If he's the guy, welcome home!

NEWS: Kansas State is expected to hire Belmont’s Casey Alexander as its next head coach, sources told ESPN. Alexander led the Bruins to the Missouri Valley regular-season title this season. Has won 20 games in 10 straight seasons.

My original prediction seems to fit Casey Alexander.
"I bet the next coach is someone who brings a high floor (more than a high ceiling) with him to Manhattan. This may seem like a relatively unexciting hire on the surface, but he will bring respectability back to the program."
