Will Stein just immediately and easily proving that the whole concept of a “Kentucky tax” in football is not a real thing. Been saying that.

@PettusWX From my untrained eye it looks like it has those storms not getting into the Nashville area until after midnight. That seems later than forecasted, no?

We do still have models with our strong line of storms FYI, the threat has not diminished one bit.

For us in Middle Tennessee, it looks like models are trending towards a more broken line of storms. That would be ideal because it would lessen our intense damaging wind threat within the line a little bit, but I would be interested if it prompts a higher tornado threat. Watching closely, still stuff to figure out. WoFS (our really good high res model) will be running today so that will help us nowcast when we get closer in time.

Couple takeaways here.
1 - Daboll is here because of Saleh and Cam. That’s it. We knew that, but it’s obvious.
2 - He is 100% gone after this year. That was a head coach up there talking today.

Man I’m so glad that storm is over. This morning man, I haven’t been necessary “scared” of a weather event in a while, but this morning with all the explosions and trees falling, it got intense. Thought some trees may fall on my house. Now time to wait for the power to restore.

11:19 pm, our next round of freezing rain is headed our way from N MS. This batch of freezing rain has been responsible for power outages down that way, with some counties reporting 40-60% of their customers without power. Something we'll need to watch through the overnight through tomorrow as additional rounds come through.

Note, these totals are probably overdone. I think you could cut these down a bit accumulation wise due to the rate this could be falling at.
