@rossiadam I’ve been looking at these too. Seems like a really well thought through family car. Just saw one in person yesterday and it looked great!

My brother just bought a Hyundai Santa Fe. He showed it to me last night. SHOCKINGLY good build quality. Luxury interior. Amazing electronics and screens. Great styling. Crazy Warranty. $38k I am probably late to this realization, but South Korea has reached parity w/ the best.

Healing to live/work from healthy confidence is still a work in progress. Learning self-forgiveness has been key to that journey. So is right identity. Also, there’s power in naming the monster. Here’s mine, “Shamus” the shame monster, drawn Aug 24, 2020 Yes those are ⚡️⚡️

@andysparks @NathanParcells Hi @NathanParcells! A) wonderful name B) Very curious to hear if you have any recommended reading for the causal foundation of enneagram theory, especially beyond the basic idea of "we have core bad experiences in childhood that lead to personality types"

Going through my "obsessed with enneagram" era I like the descriptions of the various personality types, but I'm really interested in the causal theory behind how personality forms and functions (we all experience particular common types of problems in childhood and our personalties are built to solve for this kind of problem). What should I read if I want to go deeper on the causal theory? Like why are "wings" a thing? Why are the "stress and growth arrows" a thing? Why are the "harmonic groups" a thing?

Parenting talk with non parents is so idealistic. The reality of parenting is constantly trying things like feeding a couple puffs to her to get her to start eating and then eat the real food

Using a block system with flashes of color this week — helps me see how quickly a day is filling up! 10 “blocks” of 30 minutes = 5 hours of focused work. Allows for plenty of work to mix in, answer emails, other miscellaneous tasks.

I find that every quarter’s end is an ideal time / opportunity to adjust my ideal weekly schedule — looking forward to going through that exercise before April 1st! #fractionalexecutive

My son is now 6 and getting old enough to ask more complex questions. One thing he's started asking about is money. I am very careful about this topic, but I do not avoid it. The earning of money to take care of your family, donate to church and charity are beautiful things. It's actually the best part of making money and I tell him that. Money is not the "root of all evil," as the old cliche goes. It's the worship of money above God that will destroy you. Helping kids have a healthy understanding of money is important as it's an aspect of life we cannot avoid. I told my son that 10% of our money automatically goes to the church. He told me that when he starts his business, he's going to give 12%. I think he's off to a great start.

Lots of talk about SQUATTER on X recently Oh the stories I can tell: Ive had it happen so many times. Here is the game in CA - they know when a house is vacant or vacant for sale, your house is being watched. A day before they "squat" they order an amazon package with their name and the property address of the home they are going to take over. You find out someone is in your house, you call the police. They show the package with their name and the property address, tell the police they rented the house (give a bogus name and company) and the police now say its a court issue BOOM - you have to evict them. 6+ months in CA So you settle a "cash for keys" usually $2000-5000 to get possession back in 24 hours Its a broken system

@p_millerd We live in a city and occasionally drive out to my parent’s house to work while they hang with our daughter. I’m blown away every time as we get 10+ miles out of town & the inbound lanes of the highway are still bumper to bumper traffic 🤯 Literally wasting peoples lives

Just accidentally sat in rush hour traffic today. How are we still doing this? We solved it with remote work! Why are we still doing this absurd office performance?

I'm on a mission to help fix my son's allergies and asthma. He's 3 yrs old 1) what should I try? 2) who should I talk to? he has the 'triad' (allergies, asthma, exzema) - we don't know what he's allergic to - he's in a semi-permanent state of flare up (redness, wheezy, runny nose type stuff) - if he catches any kind of cold, we end up in the ER because his breathing gets too labored (needs nebulizer for hours)

What is the best work backpack to travel with? I have an Osprey Porter 46 that goes everywhere with me. Need one smaller to take to meetings that can be carried on planes as well.

@seanpatward We’ve been really happy with Freshsales for 5+ years. Simple to manage and use. Integrates with Microsoft and Google for email/cal sync. Custom modules would let you easily create a property record to relate to companies and contacts.

Cannot believe we are here again but our team is in the market for a CRM…again. We need something that can relate companies to contacts to properties and tie them all together. We do NOT need it for deal workflow. We do not need anything as robust as Salesforce. Just need to keep notes, make lists and send batch emails. Need to integrate with Microsoft suite of products.

@BrandenHarvey @jeremycowart @Swopes Yeah, under the Driving focus mode: 1. click the Auto-Repl button to set a custom message 2. Under Turn on Automatically, select Manually. You can then pick your focus mode from control center and Driving will stay on even when you’re not driving

@jeremycowart @Swopes I believe it only works with the driving one. And then in the driving mode settings there's the ability to customize the "I'm driving and can't respond right now" text. You just need to make sure your phone is permanently set to driving mode for the whole week.

Hey @JonAcuff. I’m finally making some goals. It’s scary. (Yes, I know that means I need to make them easier). Question…is there an app/platform you use for goal tracking? Say I’m going to do something 208 times this year (or just 4x this week). How would you track that?

@shawngorham Definitely worth it. Didn’t have a TV for the first eight years of our marriage because we didn’t want a black box as the focus of our living space. Samsung Frame has been awesome… TV when we want it, art when we don’t. Also fun to put up our own family/travel photos.
