Hey #econtwitter, Natalia Rigol and I are developing an MBA class where we introduce students to tools from applied econometrics for assessing social impact. 1/3

@BenRothEcon I used R studio cloud, which had some glitches, but allowed me to control their environment. I created markdown scripts that did a lot of work for them (load/clean data, basic version of analysis) so that they could worry less about syntax and more about interpretation.

We’d also gladly accept any advice/tactics about teaching applied econometrics to MBA students :) 3/3

We are looking for pointers to good DiD and RD papers that assess programs that could be implemented by a nonprofit or business (so not pure public policy evals but most other things would count). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 2/3

Food supply to 1800 markets across India has fallen by roughly 60% since the lockdown, with some signs of improvement in recent weeks. More from work with @BenRothEcon and @nadhanael: [1/N]

India's lockdown has led to ~50% drop in fruit and vegetable volume at Azadpur wholesale market in Delhi (Asia's largest wholesale fruit and veg market), though some signs of recovery. More from work with @BenRothEcon, @nadhanael: [1/N]
