@andkalysh Maybe a light red. More likely, I'd move that whole button up to the title area and shrink it down to a 'reset' icon. Probably shrink the text size too to be closer to engine tool standard. Use grids to keep elements aligned. Also there's a typo with SSIL Temporal *Wiegth* 😅

@ARCRaidersGame ...That respects/rewards those who grinded for them. In a player's second expedition it will be easier to earn Example: 1st Expedition: player has 4 mil -> get 4 skill points. Missing one. 2nd Expedition: player has 4 mil again -> get 5 +1 catchup. Every point earned equally.

@ARCRaidersGame There is still some confusion. If a Player missed the first expedition, does doing it now count as their first one on this list? I hope so. The catch up skill points is cool, but it should not be at a discount, at minimum it should be the original cost, 1 mil...

@analyticatheism Nice to see someone else recognizing that theologies are models of the ~supernatural~. Where there is a causal relationship, it can be modeled scientifically. Unfortunately, their adherents tend to dabble in pseudo-science in this regard.

And so the enshittification shall continue. @discord will go public and then start to squeeze its user base for money while cutting every corner and expense until it is an unusable relic. This is the lifecycle of SAS technology: Be good, get customers, cash out.

I'm not sure they were trying to break new logical ground. They were trying to wake people from ancient debunked dogma.

@pbwinston I haven't seen Pluribus. I agree, hives erode individuality. The more a mind can relax its processing and defer to another's and get the same result, the less individuality there will be. Depending on the control of the stimulation, all minds will converge on bliss anyway.

In the end, you get your wish of "living forever," and are blissed out forever, but the price of admission in your individuality vanishes into smoke. I don't think many people pining away about living forever realize this might be how it goes down. 2/2

The hive-mind aspect of Pluribus might be how "uploading" would actually work. You think you're going to live forever, but it's 1 million times more rewarding to intermingle thoughts and experiences with everyone else, so everyone does... 1/
