After 10+ years in software engineering, mostly in early stage startups (and plenty of side projects along the way), I’m making the leap to go fully independent. @devlikesbizness I’m at DD stage to acquire an app through trustMRR atm. I have some experience of this but not loads. I’ve used ChatGPT for guidance and it’s been great - I wonder if that could be built in and the DD guidance tailored for each app that’s for sale

Marc just made acquiring companies on TrustMRR a lot easier. Here's a suggestion for you: It would be great to see something around due diligence next, that’s where a lot of buyers especially new buyers really struggle with. Demystifying and making DD smoother for both sides would really help close deals faster.

I started my career 13+ years ago as a process analyst in a big bank - optimizing and automating processes before AI Then I became a software engineer working in early stage startups (10+ years), where I became really good at moving fast and shipping impactful things Now i've been working with AI for 4 years, full time freelance and shipping AI automations for clients That combination means I understand business processes, can build the software, and know how to turn AI into something that actually works in the real world.

State of Car Dealership AI: Industry best product is called LotGPT which is just ChatGPT dressed up by an average company. And, for those wondering, CDK still requires manual log in on the eleads app. But Brian McDonald says they’re a tech company 😂 ….don’t forget your password! If some dealer tells you they’re killing it with AI, they are posturing.

i think a lot of app founders will run their own app studios in 2026. i’ve been getting dms from pretty big app founders lately. all you need is: > a good designer > a chronically online gen z builder we’re going to see a new app era.

@itsolelehmann watch out for signs of optimising too early. Early optimisation adds complexity, which slows iteration and makes pivots harder. Ship something simple, let real users touch it, then iterate. p.s. I’ve applied 😉

An agency business idea 💡 Building integrations for businesses. There is a lot of template code that can be reused. Think of building an n8n or similar integrations for businesses that don’t have it. These integrations might literally add revenue to companies, it shouldn’t be hard to pitch. I literally get paying customers from these integrations.
