🧡🖤 RIP John Blackwell…
John’s daughter Katie says:
“It is with great sadness that we are letting you all know that John Blackwell “JB” aka Mr Boston United has passed away in his sleep with wife Maureen at his side aged 77.
“He is greatly loved and will never be forgotten by wife Maureen and daughters Lisa and Katie.
“Boston and the whole football community has lost a wonderful man, icon and legend.
“He dedicated everything to Boston United and is black and amber through and through, it was his life and forever love.
“We are thankful for any well wishes. But at this difficult time could you please respect the family’s privacy.”
Unbelievable season from everyone involved with @tamworthfc
Top 10 with a club record points total and league position
Beat Huddersfield and Burton in the FA cup
Took Tottenham to extra time
Not bad for a team that was everyone’s favourite to go straight back down 😅
Wow what a rollercoaster journey it’s been. 😅
Just want to thank all the @tamworthfc fans for the support you’ve shown me in the last 2 years. ⚽️
I’m incredibly grateful for my time at the club and I’d like to wish everyone involved nothing but success going forward. 🐑❤️
This team💙
