I have it on some authority that we’d agreed Sarge could leave in Jan subject to an acceptable bid if we weren’t in contention for promotion. So not surprised at all and it will be pretty unfair if this creates a Sarge backlash. #NCFC expected not to have him at all this season

The only thing that is abundantly clear from this #ncfc head coach search is that whoever it is will be divisive amongst the fanbase. This is something that we simply can’t afford at this time. Whoever gets appointed deserves the full backing of the fans
