There has been a serious injury crash at Powers Road and S Business Highway 97. The southbound lanes of Business Highway 97 from Powers Road to Badger Road are closed and will remain so for several hours as officers work on crash reconstruction. Please avoid the area.

UPDATE: Thanks to public assistance, at approximately 5:55 p.m. Bend Police identified the suspect vehicle and driver in this incident. 61-year-old Bend resident Tracy Michael Wood, was taken into custody and transported to DCAJ for failure to perform duties of a driver.
