I am truly appalled at the video posted by Israeli Cabinet Minister Ben-Gvir taunting those involved in the Global Sumud Flotilla.
This violates the most basic standards of respect and dignity in the way people should be treated.
We are in touch with the families of a number of British nationals involved to provide them with consular support.
We have demanded an explanation from the Israeli authorities and made clear their obligations to protect the rights of our citizens and all those involved.

@bellacaledonia I'm brushing up on my school Gaelic and also learning Old English. Helps to really understand Scots. Also the English/Scots/Norse parts of Gaelic. I strongly recommend it

This is cool. Every kid in a British school should learn one of Welsh, Gaelige, Scottish Gaelic and old English. Even if just for a term (I’d favour longer). Learn about the deep roots of these islands!

Gosh these people are silly - I've spoken about *former* Jewish leaders a lot.
It's hopeful despite the BBC allowing him to host a flagship political show for years & spout his propoganda - he's now pretty irrelevant.

Polanski is a know-nothing blowhard. The only Jewish person to lead a political party — bar, that is, Benjamin Disraeli, Ed Miliband, Michael Howard, Jimmy Goldsmith and Herbert Samuel. He is clearly ignorant of the country’s history. And much more besides.
