When Iran let our oil tankers through the Straits of Hormuz, many thought it was because of our famous telephone diplomacy. We like to show off how we could call the head of state of so many countries.
For those with short memories, Iran was nice to us not because of the telephone calls but because it remembers.
Iran remembers that in 1988, after the deleterious 8-year war with the US/ Iraq, it had no money to buy anything. Dr M supplied palm oil, construction, and foodstuffs in a barter trade.
That's how we helped them in times of crisis. Iran has not forgotten
We are different now. When the maniac Trump and Israel bombed Iran, promising the world they would put Iran back in the Stone Age, we did not utter a word of condemnation.
Of course not. We welcome US battleships to refuel and replenish . We are now buddies with America, Amazon, and BlackRock.
If this country decides to go the Satanic way, what can we do? We can only hope Iran will prevail because Iran remembers.

In true form, Hamzah Zainuddin — this country's most ineffective Opposition Leader ever — is pictured here wearing an obscenely expensive, six figure at least Richard Mille watch.

Born in 1832, Jonathan the tortoise turned 193 today. Yes… 193. This dude is literally the oldest land animal alive. He survived 2 world wars, outlived 40 U.S. presidents, 8 British monarchs, and probably watched more drama on Earth than all of us combined.
He can’t see and smell anymore, but he still recognizes his caretakers just by voice and touch like a wise old gangster. Think about this: Jonathan was alive before the lightbulb existed… and there is a high chance he might still be here AFTER some of us are gone. Happy birthday legend... keep confusing time, history, and all of us… and may you live many more years!

If I am going to be a football manager, my philosophy and style of football would be as nearly as indentical as RDZ's.
I really like his Brighton's team.
I rate him so much but I know he will be in turmoil with BOD in his 2nd season if United takes him in.

Segamat Hospital in Johor is facing a critical shortage of medical officers, with just 13 doctors covering 24-hour emergency services.
Medical officers frequently work 12- to 14-hour shifts alone, with double shifts sometimes required to cope with patient demand, reports CodeBlue.

A total of 18,397 contract medical officers have been offered permanent appointments since 2019 as part of efforts to curb brain drain in public healthcare. The Health Ministry said some 4,500 more contract officers are set to be appointed to permanent posts this year. 🧵1

Football clubs love the illusion of control.
Sack the manager. Change the voice.
Pretend the problems disappear.
They don’t.
Spurs are the perfect example.
They sacked Thomas Frank while half the squad was injured.
Igor Tudor came in to “fix it.”
10 games later: 1 win, 9 losses.
Sacked.
Now Spurs sit one point above relegation.
The problem didn’t disappear
it got worse.
Chelsea weren’t much smarter either.
They panicked on Maresca and brought in Liam Rosenior.
Good coach, wrong timing, wrong level.
Now he’s already on the brink… and can’t even go back to Strasbourg.
Then there’s Manchester United.
Carrick came in and, on the surface, things have improved:
7wins, 1 draw, 1 loss.
Results? Better.
Momentum? Growing.
So credit where it’s due
Carrick deserves his flowers.
But watch the games.
Performances are still shaky.
The football isn’t convincing.
And now injuries are creeping back in again.
We’ve seen this story before.
If results dip, INEOS cannot hit the panic button again.
You hired an inexperienced coach…you live with that decision.
Don’t repeat the same cycle:
Hire → Struggle → Sack → Restart.
If Carrick stays, then BACK him properly:
• Fix the midfield
• Add depth
• Give him tools, not excuses
Because right now, results are covering cracks.
And when those results slow down and they will
that’s when structure, coaching, and squad depth get exposed.
Football never learns.
United have a choice:
Build with patience…
Or prepare for the same mistake, just with a different name.
