Yeshua's Talmidim forever retweetledi

“But I am a worm and not a man, a reproach of men and despised by the people” (Psa 22:6).
This verse, more than any other in Psalm 22, captures the extent to which our Messiah “emptied himself of glory” (see Phil 2:7) to become the Savior of God’s people. This king, whom David said God would answer on the day of trouble (Psa 20:1), receives no answer from God on the day of his trouble (Psa 22:1-2, 11). This same king, of whom it was said that God would remember his meal offerings (Psa 20:3), is abandoned by God and forgotten (Psa 22:11, 19). This same king, whom God’s people adore with a crown of gold upon his head (Psa 21:3), is likened to a worm, surrounded by mockers who wag their heads at him in scorn (Psa 22:6-8). This king, who asked for eternal life (Psa 21:4) along with splendor and majesty (Psa 21:5), dies a shameful and ignominious death, naked and completely alone (Psa 22:12-18).
When we consider our Messiah’s self-degrading sacrifice for our sake (Psa 22:22-31), let us willingly set aside the respect that comes with status, achievement, and titles, and get down on our hands and knees to wash the feet of those whom Yeshua now calls his sisters and brothers (Psa 22:22).
“Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross” (Phil 2:3-8).
