The Bilbao job becoming available was my biggest fear. The timing of this couldn't have been worse. Before the run-in and during an international break/time off doesn't help. It's his dream job, but let's hope the future vision and the new players is enough to keep him. #afcb

🚨 Andoni Iraola is one of the leading candidates for the Athletic Bilbao job and is set to inform Bournemouth by the end of the international break whether he’s going to sign a new deal. Iraola is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to commit to fresh terms. Bournemouth's confidence in keeping the Spaniard had grown after a recruitment drive in January including the signing of Brazilian winger Rayan. However, @talkSPORT understands the job at Athletic Bilbao, for whom Iraola played more than 400 games, is of significant appeal. The vacancy has become available after Ernesto Valverde announced he is stepping down as head coach. 🤝 @alex_crook

Given the recent Total 90 shirts, I feel so much more could've been done with these. The away shirt is the better of the two and I imagine these will look better in person and in telly. Still, the home shirt is pretty meh

La Liga will stage a retro weekend in April with teams and referees wearing vintage-style kits. The Spanish top flight confirmed in a statement that 38 of the 42 teams across the country’s top two divisions will participate in the initiative, which is scheduled to take place across the weekend of April 10 to 13. The kits will be “inspired by iconic designs from their (clubs’) past” and “reinterpreted for today’s competition”. Sources with knowledge of the plans, speaking on the condition of anonymity, indicated the kits would be unveiled at Madrid Fashion Week, which takes place between March 17 and 21. In addition to the kits, scoreboards, TV graphics and the TV broadcast will also adopt a retro aesthetic. Match officials will also wear strips designed specially for the occasion.
