💯 I agree with you that true communism is unattainable for the same reason a true free market is unattainable: Power Always Concentrates. In communism, it centralizes in the state and becomes authoritarianism before true communism ever happens. In pure capitalism, it centralizes in capital and becomes oligarchy. Different systems, same failure mode: unconstrained power. That’s why a hybrid would work best. Markets for innovation, institutions to keep both political and economic power in check. And the same logic applies to politics: a federal republic is a strong foundation, but adding more direct democracy on certain issues could further dilute concentrated power and give people a more direct corrective when elites drift too far from the public will.

Equality for all people often implies compromises, which often is seen as inequality by the side compromising. Born and raised in Romania

I think it's highly insensitive to call him bellend but, that's my opinion. The fact that he was killed whilst debating, it's scary. because dialouge should be the way.
